Bloom Science is a team of parents, public health experts, and IDEO designers that have been re-imagining sex-ed for public school kids.
They are working on products to help families have big conversations about empathy, safety, and biology in a playful, smart, inclusive, and holistic way. We helped Bloom to design and manufacture their first product, The Bloom Playbooks. These books modernize sex-education into conversations adults can have with kids. Designed for kids (age 5-14), are three volumes of three books each, covering topics like How to Talk About Safety Online and How to Talk About Puberty.
We helped to shape the Bloom Playbooks with art direction and visual design of three of the playbooks; in addition to manufacturer sourcing, production management, and manufacturer coordination. The Bloom Playbooks can be purchased here.
